Keep Assassin Snails in an established freshwater aquarium with stable water quality. They are carnivorous and hunt other snails; provide suitable meaty foods when prey is limited.

Keep portions small and remove uneaten food to protect water quality.

Assassin Snails eat other snails. Avoid housing them with Golden Mystery Snails or other ornamental snails you want to keep.

Choose peaceful fish and avoid tankmates that prey on snails. Ask us if you are unsure about your aquarium’s mix.

Orders ship on Mondays to the lower 48 states and Washington, D.C. The weekly cutoff is Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern; later orders are scheduled for the following shipping week.
